Flash League Recreational Basketball 2024 Registration is LIVE!  You already know about the tunnel, the fog machine, player introductions, and the high energy environment that makes Flash League the best recreational basketball experience anywhere!  Registration is live for K-4th Grade Boys and Girls and is first come, first serve.  Do not wait as the league filled up quickly with over 200 players on the wait list last year.

*Every attempt is made to honor at least one teammate/coach requests, but it is not guaranteed, especially after spots are filled.  The sooner every teammate gets registered, the more likely everyone is placed on the same team.

Flash Rec League: FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the Flash League and Flash Competitive Basketball teams?

The Flash League is recreational or non-competitive by design and is offered for boys and girls K through 4th Grade.
Flash Competitive teams are formed year round, have try-outs, and play against other club teams in competitive leagues and tournaments.

What makes Flash League Basketball different than other Recreational programs?

Flash League is the most fun your player will have all week!  Your kids will enjoy the pregame intros with fog machines and music, longer games, concessions stand, and the End of Season Awards Celebration.  Adults will appreciate our predictable practice and game schedules, the concessions on game days, and the great instructions from our coaches.  Above all, we provide and require the most comprehensive training for volunteer coaches so that key development objectives are met for each player.

How much does Flash League cost and when is the registration deadline?

Kinder/1st Grade Co-Ed Divisors are $195. All the other Divisions are $245.  Spots typically fill up quickly upon registration being opened so spots are offered on a first come first serve basis. Cost includes 8 weeks of games (longer Season than most other programs), midweek practices for 1st-4th Grade, and a team jersey.

How will Divisions/Teams be determined?

We are having everyone register for a specific Boy or Girl Grade Level, with exception to Kinder/1st Co-Ed. Once registration ends, we will determine the final Divisions and teams based on enrollment.  For example, we may combine 3/4th Boys if there are not enough 4th grade boys signed up to form their own Division.

Do you honor player and coach requests?

Yes, we will honor coach and player requests up to roster capacity. Having said that, for the benefit and enjoyment of everyone, please register to ‘play up’ if your assembled team is more skilled than average. Advanced 3rd and 4th Graders are encouraged to try out for Flash Competitive teams.

Are there mid-week practices for Flash League's Winter Basketball?

Kinder/1st Co-ed teams do not have mid-week practices. All other age Divisions will have one mid-week 60 minute practice.  All practices and games will be held at Nexus Church.

Can I volunteer to coach?

Yes, we need you! All Coaches will need to be background checked and required to attend our Coach’s pre-season meeting/clinic.  Your partnership in being a positive role model for the kids in our community is greatly appreciated!
