Flash meticulously searches for qualified coaches that have a passion for coaching fundamentals, but more importantly, are kind, positive people that care most about the development of each team member as a person and player. Our experienced coaching staff has significant professional and college playing experience.

Eddie Kunz

Oregon Flash Baseball
Eddie grew up in Portland, Oregon, attended Parkrose High School graduating in 2004. Eddie went on to play for the Oregon State Baseball program from 2005 – 2007 winning Pac 10 championship in 2005 & 2006 and then going on to win a national championship with Oregon State Beavers in 2006 & 2007. In June 2007 Eddie got drafted by the New York Mets with the 42nd overall pick in the first round. Within a year Eddie made his MLB debut on August 3rd, 2008 against the Houston Astros. In 2011, Eddie was traded to the San Diego Padres to finish out his career. After 8 years in playing professional baseball Eddie now resides in Sherwood, OR with his wife, Nicole, and 3 kids. Eddie will bring his vast knowledge, passion, and love for the game to FLASH baseball. Not only will this be for the kids to grow and develop in the game of baseball, but the skills for life. Eddie and FLASH Baseball couldn’t be more excited to join together and be a part of this growing program.
