Flash Competitive Basketball

FLASH Competitive Basketball is a one of the largest youth club/travel basketball organizations in the State of Oregon. Our players are between 2nd through High School. This is a year-round program and most games are played locally against other club teams in our Region. We also occasionally travel to attend National Tournaments starting in 5/6th Grade.

We will field multiple boys and girls teams this Spring. Read about our exciting announcement regarding the Women's Basketball Program! Participants will continue to develop the key fundamentals of dribbling, passing, shooting, and defense. In addition, elevated team strategies around offense and defense will be incorporated.

Teams are selected through tryouts, and will practice 1 to 2 times per week, depending on the Season. Rosters will consist of 8-11 players per team. Depending on the number of players per level, multiple teams (A & B Team) may be added for a specific grade level. Historically, we have had more players try out than available roster spots so player cuts do occur in the Flash Competitive Program.

Games are usually held on Saturdays or Sundays (depending on the season), and will also play in weekend tournaments which includes 3-on-3 tournaments in the summer. Practice are held in various locations throughout Beaverton/SW Portland. Players will receive a full uniform along with other team apparel.

Games are played 5 on 5, on a 10 ft. hoop.
